Welcome back!
We believe that most children are not diagnosed correctly regarding AD/HD. This is primarily because doctors do not conduct extensive lab testing to get to the real cause of the symptoms. It is just too easy to prescribe a prescription drug such as Ritalin.
There are at least 8 categories that should be tested. Two of these include food allergies and toxic metals. Sign up for my free newsletter (right column) to receive a report that goes into more detail about the functional lab testing that should be followed.
I recently came across a story that shows how important it is to conduct extensive lab testing. A family spent over $200,000 on doctors and medications trying to determine what was causing the ADHD like symptoms. Even though the child was a rare case, it shows what can happen when someone is misdisgnosed and ends up taking drugs they do not need.

interesting. I agree. there should be more intensive tests to ensure if a child had ADHD or not. Because, as you’ve mentioned, it might lead to one being prescribed with a medicine that they do not need.
