In the February 2009 publication, Pediatrics (Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics), a report concluded that “patients and physicians should be aware that psychosis or mania arising during drug treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may represent adverse drug reactions.”
Hallucinations involving visual and/or tactile sensations of insects, snakes, or worms were common in cases in children!
Various investigations have prompted federal officials to require new labeling on AD/HD drugs to warn of possible psychiatric side effects. This includes Novartis AG’s Ritalin and Focalin XR, Shire Plc’s Adderall XR and Daytrana patch, Johnson & Johnson’s Concerta, Eli Lilly and Co’s Strattera and Celltech Pharmaceuticals Inc’s Metadate CD.
An estimated 2.5 million children and teens take these and other stimulant-based medications to treat ADHD symptoms.
The word is finally getting out about how bad these drugs are. I urge you to conduct extensive lab testing to determine what the cause is of the so called ADHD symptoms before you administer any drugs. Review this site about lab testing >> HealthSolutionCenter.com
